Printmaker of the Year 2008
in Association with Printmaking Today magazine
Angie Lewin

The work of the first ever Printmaker of the Year, Angie Lewin, will be on
display throughout Printfest. Angie's appealing and hugely popular work was selected from a shortlist of the most exciting printmakers at work today.

The list was prepared by Printmaking Today, the leading publication for printmakers and collectors of graphic art.

Children's Workshops
Come and join local printmaker Tania Marie Jany Brown in the Ante room to make your own collagraph print. Drop in between 10am and 12.30 on Saturday or Sunday. Mainly aimed at primary school children but all ages welcome. FREE.

Simon Ripley Masterclass
Simon Ripley was chosen by his fellow exhibitors to be Printmaker's Printmaker at our Printfest2007 event. We have invited him back as our guest in 2008 and he will be leading this Masterclass on Saturday afternoon with children from local secondary schools who have been nominated to attend.

We hope that Simon and his tutees will allow us a peek at what they have created!!

On Sunday afternoon our Printmaker's Printmaker for 2007, Simon Ripley will be giving a talk in the Ante Room entitled "Find out more".
