30/04/12 - PRINTFEST GEARS UP FOR A PACKED WEEKEND
Printfest will bring the best of contemporary printmaking to Ulverston this weekend, 5 and 6 May, when its annual exhibition brings the work of more than 40 international printmakers to the town’s Coronation Hall.
20/04/12 - PRINTFEST SPREADS A TRAIL AROUND ULVERSTON
Printfest, the UK’s artist led printmaking festival will take art out of Ulverston’s Coronation Hall and around the town for the first Printfest Trail.
The Trail will see work from 26 artists exhibited in 18 new venues around the town, including shops and cafes. It begins on Monday 23 April and will continue until Sunday 6 May, the final day of the Printfest weekend.

Printfest, the only artist led printmaking festival in the UK, has today announced the line up of exhibitors for its 2012 event. Printfest 2012 takes place on the weekend of 5 and 6 May in Ulverston, Cumbria and features the best contemporary printmakers from around the UK and internationally.

Printfest, the UK’s only artist led printmaking festival, has today announced Kelly Stewart as its 2012 Printmaker of the Year.
In Autumn 2011, Printfest asked print studios around the country to nominate the best printmakers in the UK. Kelly was nominated by Edinburgh Print Studio and was chosen from a short list of artists to undertake a residency in Ulverston and exhibit her work at Printfest

The organisers of Printfest , the Lake District festival of contemporary original printmaking have today announced the line up for their tenth anniversary event. Taking place over the weekend of 30 April and 1 May in the Cumbrian town of Ulverston the event, which was founded by local printmakers Ronkey Bullard and Judy Evans in 2001, has seen its reputation grow over the past decade.
